a time-boxed program/period where you commit to going all in and advance to your goal, whatever that might be; typically used in a startup environment where the accelerator provides tools, advice, and strategy to propel your company to where it needs to be
similar to: ‘incubator’ (like where you incubate ideas or baby chicks 🐣) but this one incubates talent

“Hey bro, did you hear that Sarah is quitting tomorrow because she got into an accelerator for her startup? Yeah, if she stays, it’ll take her a lot longer to grow and split her time.”
